They are not the same.

Logics is a discipline, an instrument or even a ladder to help the mind climb from concept to concept or from one idea to another. The concepts or the ideas that are being escalated do not have to be real. They could be hypothetical or absurd and your logics would not necessarily object.

Logis can’t tell you what is “good” or “bad” and whether your ideas are right or wrong. Logics can prevent a misstep, but it can’t tell you what to do and where to go, what newspaper to read or what to think of the economy now.

So, just like Alice or Don Quijote you could be very logical, but live in a dream where your logics only help you spin every kind of nonsense

“Logic is the science or discipline of valid inference. It has nothing to say about what is plausible, reasonable or probable. Logic has very little to say about what is true.”

quoted from Google group Platonists on Parade

Besides, without the help of experience and some acquaintance with the history of your subject, both reason and logics are bound to idle, as you can see in any talk about politics, religion, philosophy.
